Our volunteer experiences at America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend directed us to address a lot of different issues such as poverty and even more importantly hunger. Hunger is prevelent in our world today, and many countries rely on our aid and support in order to gain access to a sufficient amount of food; but we had not realized that on a smaller scale, our community is facing this issue as well. That is why these media campaigns aid to influence those from around the area to donate their time and efforts to reduce those who face hunger, to educate those who are unaware, and to bring the community together and support a cause that affects not some, but many of us. Although you may not be in need yourself, someone you know may be. So join the efforts of America's Second Harvest to stop local hunger, but more importantly; Fight Hunger and Feed Hope.
